My Take

Sonu Sood is one of the more compelling figures in Indian cinema for a reason that has little to do with cinema. Yes, he's a formidable screen villain, a Nandi and Filmfare South winner who can dominate a frame, working seamlessly across Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil films. But what genuinely moves me is the gap between his on-screen menace and his off-screen generosity, most visibly his vast relief work for stranded migrant workers. That contrast, terrifying as a bad guy, tender as a humanitarian, is rare and real. I admire performers who use their fame as a tool, not just a trophy.
