My Take

What grabs me about Carlos Arroyo isn't the seven-team NBA resume, it's the swagger of a 185 cm point guard surviving in a land of giants. To me his real stage was always international play, wearing Puerto Rico's colors and lighting up Team USA on the Olympic floor. That blend of island pride and fearless creativity is more memorable than any single franchise stint. Coming out of Fajardo and the University of Florida, he carved a long career on guile, tempo and nerve rather than size. I have a soft spot for these small generals who play bigger than their measurements.
