Spencer Locke

Spencer Locke has the kind of resume that rewards a closer look. From voicing a kid in Monster House to K-Mart in the Resident Evil franchise and Kylie in Cougar Town, she moves between horror, comedy and animation with an ease most child actors never reach. What impresses me is the longevity, surviving the brutal transition from child star to working adult performer without burning out. She may be best known here for genre films, but I value the range and durability of a career built quietly and on actual versatility rather than a single breakout.
