My Take

Okay, Takeru Satō kind of bugs me, in the best way. He has that soft, almost gentle face, and you assume he's just going to coast on being pretty, and then he turns around and actually acts, like really acts, with these quiet eyes that do half the work before he opens his mouth. I came in knowing him from the Kamen Rider days, filed him under "cute young guy," and then Rurouni Kenshin happened and suddenly he's swinging a sword for real and selling every move. That Saitama-kid calmness with a switch that flips when the scene needs it is so satisfying to watch. He sings too, which feels almost greedy. New Face awards out of the way early, then he just kept proving it. I'm a fan, honestly.
