Teresa Ann Savoy

Teresa Ann Savoy fascinates me as a London-born actress who built her career in Italian cinema, navigating a foreign language and culture to carve out a real screen presence. That kind of cross-border reinvention demands more grit than her delicate image suggests. Her passing in 2017 was a loss, yet she left a distinct mark on European film. I admire performers who follow their craft across borders rather than staying comfortable, and she clearly did.
