Tori Spelling

For my generation, Tori Spelling will always be Donna Martin from Beverly Hills, 90210, anchoring one of the defining teen dramas of the nineties across its full ten-year run. As the daughter of a legendary television producer, she faced endless skepticism about whether she earned her place, and I think she answered it in an unusual way. Rather than guarding a polished image, she wrote candid memoirs and moved into producing, taking ownership of her own narrative. What I respect is her willingness to expose the awkward and embarrassing parts of her life rather than hide behind a star pedigree. That kind of openness has kept her relevant long after the show ended.
