My Take

Travis Fimmel is proof that the most magnetic actors are often the ones who never planned to act. A farm kid from Echuca who stumbled into modeling, he could have coasted on his looks indefinitely; instead he weaponized them, playing Ragnar Lothbrok with a glint of madness that made Vikings appointment television. What I love is his refusal to be handsome in a boring way. Every role since, from Raised by Wolves to Dune: Prophecy, leans into unsettling charisma rather than the jawline. He acts with his eyes the way great athletes play on instinct, and honestly I would watch him read a weather report.
