My Take

What I respect about Varun Tej is the order in which he built his career. Plenty of young leading men chase the blockbuster first and worry about credibility later; he did the reverse, earning critical respect with the war drama Kanche before breaking through commercially with Fidaa. That sequencing tells me he understands longevity. Telugu cinema is exporting stars to the world stage faster than ever, and his blend of conventional leading-man presence and genuine range positions him well for that wave. He is the kind of actor I quietly expect to be everywhere in five years, and I would not bet against it.
