Will Jordan

Watching Will Jordan, I'm reminded how absurdly deep New Zealand's rugby talent runs. Born in Christchurch in 1998 and schooled at Christchurch Boys' High, he's become a fullback for the Crusaders and the All Blacks despite losing a full year to injury early on. What I love about his game isn't just raw pace, it's the instinct, that uncanny knack for materializing in support and finishing tries. Plenty of players are fast; few read space the way he does. Thriving under the weight of the black jersey is its own proof of class. He's a player I simply can't look away from.
