My Take

Nani is the kind of star I find easy to root for. Born in Hyderabad as Ghanta Naveen Babu, he climbed through assistant directing and radio work before becoming one of Telugu cinema's most bankable leads, racking up Nandi and Filmfare South awards along the way. What appeals to me is that he never seems to lose the everyman warmth that got him noticed in the first place. He also produces, which tells me he cares about whole films, not just his own screen time. I respect performers who build slowly and stay grounded, and Nani reads exactly that way to me.
