Yang Dong-geun

Yang Dong-geun, or YDG, is the rare multi-hyphenate who actually pulls it off. A child actor turned rapper who helped define Korean hip-hop from 2001 onward, he juggles acting, singing, songwriting, and producing without losing his identity. Most people who spread themselves this thin become jacks of all trades; he instead stamps his own voice on everything. That refusal to be boxed in is exactly what I admire.
