Zion.T

Zion.T is an artist whose voice I genuinely love. Born Kim Hae-sol in 1989, his languid, honeyed delivery is instantly recognizable, and the fact that G-Dragon, Zico, and Psy all sought him out as a feature tells you how deeply the Korean scene trusts him. In an industry dominated by idol spectacle, I value singer-songwriters who guard their own aesthetic, and his slim catalog from Red Light to Zip carries real sensuality and space. To me, his refusal to chase trends and his patient devotion to his own sound is exactly what makes him cool.
