My Take
Akane Mitani was born in May 1996 in Saitama Prefecture. She debuted in 2017 billed as a university student, a persona she later said was invented, appeared in more than 400 titles in about three years, and picked up industry awards in 2019. She also ran a YouTube duo, wrote a weekly magazine column and landed a regular network television slot before retiring from adult video in July 2025; she now works as a show dancer. Someone in her twenties put her face and her name to her work. I would rather state that plainly than dress it up.
