My Take

Alex Teixeira is one of those forwards whose career took the road less traveled. Coming out of Vasco da Gama and debuting in the senior side at just 18, he clearly had the talent to chase the biggest European stages, yet his path ran through Shakhtar Donetsk and beyond. I find that fascinating, because plenty of fans only fixate on the marquee leagues and overlook players who quietly rack up goals elsewhere. At 173cm he's not a towering target man; he's a sharp, mobile finisher. I respect a Brazilian forward who built a real career on his own terms rather than chasing hype.
