My Take

Andrew Castle fascinates me as someone who pulled off two careers in one lifetime. As a tennis player he was Britain's number one in singles in 1986 and reached an Australian Open mixed doubles final, using that 190 cm frame to good effect. Then he reinvented himself entirely as a broadcaster and presenter. I respect athletes who plan their second act well, because the transition out of sport breaks a lot of people. Castle did it with the same composure that served him on court. To me his Scorpio focus shows up equally under match pressure and in front of a live camera.
