My Take
Andrew Hussie strikes me as a storyteller native to the internet age. The creator of Homestuck, a webcomic built like a text-based adventure game, he invented a mode of narrative that belongs to neither print comics nor animation but to the web itself. I genuinely think that kind of formal inventiveness is rare. The world he grew out of MS Paint Adventures cultivated a devoted following and became its own subculture. I'm always fond of creators who refuse to fit existing molds, and choosing a path no one has walked is, to me, the very heart of being an artist.
