My Take
Ayo Edebiri is, to me, one of the most exciting talents working right now. She came up through comedy and writing rooms, then detonated as Sydney in The Bear, sweeping a Golden Globe, an Emmy, and a Critics' Choice award in 2023 alone. What impresses me is the range: she can land a joke and break your heart in the same scene, and she directs too.
