Bae Ji-hyun

Bae Ji-hyun works as both a model and an announcer, and a Sogang University background tells me there's real substance behind the face. Pairing the polish of modeling with the composure and verbal skill of broadcasting isn't an easy combination to pull off. She won an award at the 2009 Supermodel Contest, then worked as an announcer for MBC Sports Plus and SBS ESPN and hosted Baseball S, and in 2018 she married the baseball player Ryu Hyun-jin. On screen, being someone people trust tends to outlast being someone people gossip about. I quietly root for these understated, capable people.
