Beck

Beck fascinates me because he refuses to sit still creatively. Emerging from the early-1990s lo-fi scene, he turned genre-blending into a signature, stitching folk, funk, hip hop, and electronica into collages that somehow feel like one coherent voice. His street-performer roots make sense to me; there is a restless, scavenging curiosity at his core. What I admire most is that even after winning the 2015 Grammy for Album of the Year, he never settled into a safe lane. He chases his own odd instincts instead of trends, and that stubborn originality is exactly why I keep listening.
