Bibian Murakawa

Okay, first things first: the name. Bibian Murakawa just sticks in your head, and honestly that's half the battle won in the idol world before she's even hit the stage. I love that there's this built-in brightness to her whole deal, the kind of relentless on-stage sparkle that's weirdly contagious even through a phone screen. But what I dig more is the sense that there's actual backbone under the glitter, that she's not just coasting on being cute. Her Instagram gives off that easy, unforced closeness with fans that you can't really fake, and that's exactly the type of performer I find myself quietly rooting for. She feels like one of those idols you stumble onto and then can't help wanting to see go the distance. Keep flashing that Bibian smile.
