Taiga Kyomoto

Okay, the first time I heard Taiga Kyomoto sing, I genuinely did a double take. That voice goes soaring up into a register you do not expect from a guy who looks like he stepped out of a shojo manga, and it just rings. What gets me is that he could've coasted on the name alone, his dad being the veteran actor Masaki Kyomoto, but instead he went and built a whole second life on the musical theater stage, belting his lungs out under hot lights. I love that contrast: off the clock he reads as this soft, slightly spaced-out Tokyo kid, and then the music starts and he flips a switch and owns the room. Add SixTONES on top and you've got someone who clearly just loves to perform. He's earned the spotlight, honestly.
