Brandy Ledford

What strikes me about Brandy Ledford is her durability. Plenty of people start out as glamour and Penthouse models and never cross over, yet she built a real on-screen career, anchoring roles on Baywatch Hawaii and the cult sci-fi series Andromeda. I respect that kind of reinvention; it takes more than looks to hold a recurring genre role. There's something quietly admirable about a Denver-born model carving out longevity in a fickle industry that rarely lets people escape their first label. I find myself rooting for performers who refuse to be boxed in, and she clearly did just that.
