My Take
Brian Blessed might be the most gloriously loud presence British acting ever produced, and I mean that as the highest compliment. The OBE feels almost understated for someone this larger-than-life. What I love is that he never seems to dial it down for anyone. In an industry full of careful, mannered performances, Blessed is a force of nature who simply refuses to whisper.
