My Take
Cameron Mathison strikes me as the consummate working actor, and I mean that as high praise. Fourteen years as Ryan Lavery on All My Children, a long run of Hallmark films, and now Drew Cain on General Hospital is a career built on reliability, not flash. The detail I love most is his McGill engineering background; there is something charming about a trained engineer thriving in daytime drama and movie romance. He won Hottest Male Star in 1999, but longevity is the real story here. I respect performers who simply keep delivering, decade after decade.
