Carmella DeCesare

Carmella DeCesare appeals to me because she refused to stay in one lane. Out of Avon Lake, Ohio, she went from Playboy's Miss April 2003 to 2004 Playmate of the Year, then threw herself into the WWE Diva Search and the physical world of wrestling. Moving from modeling into acting and the ring takes a nerve most cover stars never test. I respect that restlessness more than the accolades themselves; choosing to risk a comfortable image for a harder, more athletic arena suggests a curiosity and grit that the glossy résumé alone would never reveal.
