Cathy Silvers

Cathy Silvers carries a fascinating inheritance as the daughter of comedy legend Phil Silvers, and I respect how she built her own lane rather than coast on the name. Her turn as boy-crazy Jenny Piccolo on Happy Days made her a familiar face to a whole generation, and her later work on Foley Square plus her writing suggest someone unwilling to be defined by a single role. Growing up beside a giant could have been suffocating, but she found her footing in the same business on her own terms. That kind of quiet persistence is exactly what I find worth celebrating.
