Chen

For me, Chen has always been the emotional anchor of Exo. Plenty of idols can hit high notes, but few make a melody feel lived-in the way he does, whether in CBX, SM the Ballad, or his solo ballads. I find it telling that a Hanyang University student from Daejeon built his fame not on spectacle but on the sheer purity of his voice. He dances, acts, and models, yet what lingers is the tone. Announcing his own marriage in 2020 and then serving his military duty only adds to that clean, unforced sincerity I admire so much in his singing.
