My Take
Okay, I'll admit it, the second I saw Satoshi Takayama's résumé I sat up a little straighter. Nada for junior and senior high, then Keio's economics faculty? That's the kind of pedigree that makes me wonder what his brain is even running on. After Boston Consulting Group and a run of AI startups, he helped found Team Mirai, served as its secretary-general, and won a House of Representatives seat for the Tokyo proportional block in 2026. That is an unusual route into the Diet, and I kind of respect it.
