Chika Arakawa

Honestly, when I first clocked that Chika Arakawa is an actor, model, voice actress, and former child performer all rolled into one, my first thought was: how does someone born in 1999 already have that many lanes? Growing up in Yokohama and stepping in front of cameras as a kid will do that to you — there's a quiet confidence that child performers either find early or never find at all, and she clearly found it. The Leo in her tracks too; something about the way she carries across such different formats — live-action, editorial, voice work — has that lion-y quality of just owning whatever room she's in. And the Instagram handle being a nod to trains? That small, specific, charming detail tells me there's a real person behind the portfolio, not just a brand. She's still in her mid-twenties with a résumé that already spans multiple disciplines — that kind of range usually only gets more interesting with time.
