Choi Young-joon

What I admire about Choi Young-joon is how reliably he elevates whatever scene he is in without ever stealing it. Across Hospital Playlist, Vincenzo, Our Blues, and Gyeongseong Creature, he is the kind of supporting actor who makes the leads look better and the world feel real. There is a quiet craftsmanship to his work that I find more impressive than flashier stardom. A Daegu native who also sings and studied at Dong-a University, he strikes me as a true working actor, and those are exactly the performers who tend to stay beloved across decades.
