My Take

Chris Doleman is the kind of player I respect without reservation. A defensive end out of Indianapolis, he racked up 150.5 career sacks, eight Pro Bowls, and a deserved Hall of Fame induction, mostly with the Minnesota Vikings. Defense rarely gets the romantic press that offense does, but to me a pass rusher who can wreck a game on his own is pure artistry. He changed outcomes by sheer disruption. Though he passed in 2020, the numbers and the menace he brought off the edge still define what relentless defensive excellence looks like, and that legacy endures.
