My Take
Chris Lowell is one of those actors whose face I recognized long before I could name him, and that's a compliment. For me he peaked as Bash in GLOW, but going back to Veronica Mars and Private Practice, I see a steady, likable presence who slots into ensembles without ever overplaying his hand. Born in Atlanta in 1984 and trained at USC, he's also moved into directing, which I always find interesting in actors who clearly think about the whole frame. He's never been a tabloid figure, and I respect that he seems to let the work speak. A quietly reliable career.
