My Take
Claire Williams earns my admiration simply for the arena she chose. Leading the Williams team as deputy team principal from 2013 to 2020, she operated in one of motorsport's most male-dominated corners, becoming one of only two women ever to manage a Formula One outfit. Carrying a storied family name into the high-pressure business of running a race team is no small burden, and her OBE feels thoroughly deserved. I'm drawn to people who refuse to treat adversity as an excuse, and her continued work as an industry ambassador suggests a quiet, durable resilience. She is the kind of understated strength I find genuinely inspiring.
