My Take

Cory Joseph is the kind of player I respect more the longer I watch the game. A point guard out of Pickering, Ontario, he built a career on craft rather than highlights, learning the trade at Texas before becoming the steady hand who eventually captained Canada. At 188 cm he was never physically imposing for the position, so he survived on vision, pace, and discipline. Now testing himself in Europe with Olympiacos, he keeps doing the unglamorous work that quietly wins games. Players like him rarely get the spotlight, but teams collapse without them, and I value that enormously.
