My Take
Craig Bellamy is one of those one-off characters I enjoy following into the dugout. A Cardiff-born forward who debuted for Norwich in 1996 and broke Coventry's transfer record in 2000, he played with his temper on full display, all fire and grievance. I like a man who refuses to hide his edge and shouts on the pitch. The clashes came with the territory, but they also showed how badly he wanted to win. Now head coach of Wales, he clearly had the football brain underneath all that heat. Roughness and intelligence in one man makes for a fascinating manager.
