Cynthia Addai-Robinson

Cynthia Addai-Robinson is one of those actors who keeps showing up in prestige projects and absolutely delivering every time. I first really noticed her as Naevia in Spartacus — a role that asked her to carry enormous emotional weight across seasons, and she did it with raw conviction. Then she popped up as Amanda Waller in Arrow, and later landed the role of Tar-Míriel in The Rings of Power, which is basically one of the most visually ambitious shows Amazon has ever produced. NYU Tisch trained, born in London and raised in the States — she brings a kind of quiet authority to everything she does, whether it's action-heavy genre TV or a scene that just requires her to hold the frame and command attention. More people should know her name.
