My Take

Dario Saric is one of those players I find easy to root for. At 206cm he could have leaned entirely on size, but what got him to the NBA as the 12th overall pick in 2014 was a Croatian basketball brain that shows up in his passing and feel for the game. Coming out of Sibenik and representing the senior national team, he carries that European all-around skill set that doesn't always make highlight reels but wins coaches over. His career has moved through several teams, including Sacramento, and I respect the durability that takes. He's a craftsman more than a phenom, and I think the longevity speaks for itself.
