Davood Ghadami

Davood Ghadami earns my respect as a working actor who climbed steadily rather than overnight. After early turns in Taggart, Doctors, and Casualty, he found his defining role as Kush Kazemi in EastEnders, holding it from 2014 until the character's death in 2021. Seven years inside a soap is a marathon of discipline, not a sprint of luck. What interests me is the British-Persian heritage he carries into a quintessentially British institution. I see a performer who valued craft over fame, and I quietly applaud the patience that built his career from Harlow up.
