My Take
Debra Messing will always be Grace to me, but reducing her to one role undersells a genuinely versatile talent. A Brandeis-educated New Yorker who is unafraid to look ridiculous for a laugh, she brings a rare blend of intelligence and physical comedy that is harder to pull off than it looks. Her Emmy and multiple Screen Actors Guild ensemble wins confirm she elevates everyone around her. What I respect most is her longevity, sustaining a frontline career across film, stage, voice work, and television. Comedic timing this natural is criminally underrated, and she makes the difficult craft of being funny look effortless.
