My Take
I first warmed to Ed Weeks as the smug-but-lovable Dr. Jeremy Reed on The Mindy Project, and he has stuck with me since. A Trinity College man from Banbury, he carries an unmistakable English polish, yet his comic timing slots perfectly into American sitcom rhythm. The fact that he also writes points to a calculating comedic mind, someone who builds laughs by design rather than accident. I suspect he is an actor still due wider recognition.
