Ella Eyre

Ella Eyre has one of those voices you recognize instantly, and that is rarer than it sounds. Her breakout on Rudimental's UK number-one "Waiting All Night" showed me how much presence she could command even as a featured artist, which is a real skill. There is a soulful grit underneath the pop sheen that I genuinely enjoy, and her early Brit Award association and MOBO recognition felt well deserved rather than hyped. I am most interested in watching her keep carving out her own lane between soul and pop instead of chasing trends. A distinctive talent worth following.
