Eric Vale

Eric Vale is one of those names anime fans recognize the instant they hear the voice, even if they never learned to spell it. To me, what's impressive isn't just the iconic roles, Sanji, Future Trunks, Shigaraki, but that he also directs dubs and writes scripts. That triple role makes him a quiet architect of how an entire generation in the West experienced Japanese stories. I find that kind of behind-the-scenes craftsmanship more compelling than fame itself. A Texan shaping global pop culture from the dubbing booth is a genuinely modern story, and I respect the discipline it demands.
