My Take

Logan spent more than two decades as Manowar's guitarist, holding a melodic line inside one of metal's loudest, most theatrical engines, and that kind of endurance demands real craft. But I can't write about him without acknowledging the 2018 arrest and 2022 conviction that ended his career, because pretending the music exists in a vacuum would be dishonest. My honest take is that I admire the player while keeping clear eyes about the man. It's one of those uncomfortable cases where the artistry is genuine and the person behind it is not someone I'd hold up as a role model.
