My Take

For me, Erin Richards is one of those actors I'll always picture in a single role: Barbara Kean in Gotham. She took a character who could have been disposable and turned her into something genuinely unhinged and magnetic, which is no small feat on a show that crowded. I like that her roots are in theater, trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, because you can feel that stage discipline underneath the chaos. The fact that she's also moved toward directing tells me she's not content just performing what she's handed. I'd happily watch whatever she chooses to make next.
