My Take
Gary Oldman is my answer whenever someone asks who the best living screen actor is. From Sid Vicious to Smiley to Churchill, he disappears so completely that I sometimes forget the same man is underneath, and his long-overdue 2018 Oscar felt like the Academy finally catching up to common knowledge.
