Hana Okamoto

Hana Okamoto took the long way in — she moved from Fukui to the Tokyo area after high school and was working as a supermarket cashier supervisor when she got scouted in 2020 — and honestly? I kind of respect it. At 174 cm she stood out quickly, landing on Weekly Playboy's ranking of tall gravure idols and a Best Body award from the people who cover the industry. In an era where so many careers start online, there's something almost refreshing about one that started behind a register. Whatever she's building, she's doing it on her own terms, and that low-key self-possession is its own kind of statement.
