Hina Kino

Voice acting is a strange profession: the voice reaches the audience long before the name does. Hina Kino was born in Saitama Prefecture in 1997, began working in 2014, and landed her first main role in 2016 as Sylvia Silkcut in Hybrid × Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia. Going from entry to a lead in two years looks quick from the outside, but I find myself thinking about those two years instead, about the uncredited crowd work and single-line parts that nobody keeps track of. She married in 2023 and announced the birth of her first child, a son, in 2025. Given that the job asks her to disappear into a different girl every season, a face that stays a little out of view may be the whole point of how she works.
