Isaac Hempstead-Wright

To me Isaac Hempstead-Wright will always be Bran Stark, and I mean that as the highest compliment. Carrying such a strange, weighty arc from boyhood into otherworldly insight is an enormous ask for any child actor, and he met it with a stillness that earned a Young Artist Award nomination. His voice work in The Boxtrolls hints at a range beyond fantasy brooding. Born in 1999 and shaped by Surrey, he stands at a fascinating crossroads, and I genuinely look forward to the adult performances he has yet to give. There is real talent waiting to unfold here.
