Itziar Ituño

Itziar Ituno earned global recognition as Inspector Raquel Murillo in Money Heist, but what draws me to her is the foundation underneath that fame. She works in both Basque and Spanish, as an actress and a singer, and that bilingual, bicultural commitment gives her performances a grounded authenticity. Plenty of actors get an overnight breakout and lose their roots; she seems to have done the opposite, staying tethered to her region while reaching a worldwide audience. I respect performers who carry their origins forward instead of leaving them behind, and she clearly does.
