My Take

J.P. France is the kind of story I find genuinely compelling. Drafted in the 14th round by the Houston Astros in 2018, he was nobody's blue-chip prospect, yet he ground his way up the minors and reached his MLB debut in 2023 with one of baseball's most demanding organizations.
